Question - by Gaurav	Dear sir, I tried to use this programmer in my seprate general pcb board of my project (P89v51rd2 microcontroller), in which on reset pin i used resistance (10K) through gnd and 10uF cap through 5v to generate high reset pulse on power up. when i connect pin of programmer to my board accordinlly it does not program. However my programmer is working with my kit. I am not getting why this programmer is not working. I strange thing noted on your kit for 89c51rd2 circuit that at reset pin you does not connect reset circuit only one switch with +5v. Please help me to understand it and to solve my problem Gaurav
Embedded_Market_Support - Reply	Do not connect anything to RST pin, remove resistance & capacitor.
Question - by Gaurav	I just want to know whether in this case we doesn't require RST circuit for this case. I wonder whether My program on 89v51rd2 will work every time i switch on the power.
Embedded_Market_Support - Reply	There must be a Reset circuit when project is deployed, but when you are in R&D, remove the reset circuit.
Question - by rajesh	THe hardware of P89V51RD2 and programmer is tested using ledblinking.So thee is no dought of hardware and software. But when I load program to display letter "B" on pc monitorusing USART of p89V51RD2 the program work fine it diplay repeated letter B on the PC monitor through com1 port.If I try to load ledblinking program through flash magic it shows the message "unable to communicate.(in use)Ensure no other appications are using com port. Try raising or lowering baudrate".Likewise two no of P89V51RD2 ucontroller unable to reprogram.If I use fresh Uc chip I can reload ledblinking program number of time.THe reprograming of does take place if I load serial program (usin RXD TXD PIN)or usart program.Please provided me technical support.
Embedded_Market_Support - Reply	Press Reset Button while programming. This is because FlashMagic is unable to capture the 89V51RD2 as the controller is itself in Serial communication mode.
Question - by rajesh	sir, as per your suggetion I press the reset switch while proramming still programing of chip does not take place.I have ensured that the high voltage on reset pin when reset button pressed.The following window message come "unable to connect at the specified baudrate.Try reducing the baudrate.failed to autobaud. See http://www.flashmagictool.com/autobaud.html. reset the hardware into ISP mode again".The serial programmed chip display letter B when connected to com1 through hyperterminal. kindly provide me technical support.
Embedded_Market_Support - Reply	1. In FlashMagic - Tool->Advance->remove the DTR to control RST. 2) Program and press reset switch manually 3) let us know if this works.
