Breakout-Module to convert USB to Serial is handy when you want to connect your microcontroller-based application to USB. 

Use this module to enable USB interface for your product. It works with any microcontroller operating at 3.3V or 5V. 

This module converts all Serial signals (RX,TX, RTS, CTS, RI, DTR, DSR and DCD) to a TTL level (3.3 or 5V depending on the jumper setting). 

The converted signals are available on a single line connector as well as with a DB9 type Female socket. Please note that this module converts the signals to TTL level and “not” at RS232 levels.

The ideal usage of this module is to directly connect it to your Micorcontroller’s Rx-Tx lines to interface your product with PC.

Module source the power from the USB Bus, i.e. from PC / Laptop.
